Apart from ensuring high-quality planning, the WE-Care PMU also ensures the timely delivery of the program’s objectives and manages key risks and issues. It also maintains relationships with other Oxfam multi-country programs, country teams, and other Oxfam affiliates and teams.
WE-Care partner Network of Ethiopian Women's Association (NEWA) and Asham TV, a privately owned national media outlet, in collaboration with Oxfam in Ethiopia, organized a televised panel discussion on unpaid care and domestic work (UCDW) in January 2025 in Amharic, Ethiopia’s national language.
The next 5-year phase of WE-Care builds on past successes to broaden its scope.
