The WE-Care Program’s three-day workshop took place from August 28 to 30, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It focused on the critical phases of the program, including validation, learning, and the inception of Phase V. Participants, representing diverse stakeholder groups, engaged in collaborative sessions to review findings from Phase IV, foster a deeper understanding of the program’s impact, and formulate strategies for Phase V implementation.

During the validation session, stakeholders collectively affirmed the outcomes and challenges identified in the recent end-of-phase IV evaluation. The subsequent learning workshop provided an opportunity for participants to share insights, enhance program effectiveness, and strengthen team connections. The inception meeting for Phase V emphasized alignment, ways of working, and the initiation of the new phase.
