WE-Care unveils new logo, strengthens visual narrative through a branding project
Following partners’ recommendation to create a coherent visual imagery for the Phase 5 of the program, WE-Care embarked on branding journey that led to the development of a program logo, as well as several care-related icons, illustrations, and templates. Aside from aiding its communications and influencing work, the idea behind the branding project was for WE-Care to carve its own visual identify, highlighting that the program is a partner-led initiative. For instance, the WE-Care logo was conceived by merging the ideas of equal redistribution of care, women and girls at the center, and contextualizing UCDW with the African lens.
Moving forward, the new branding elements of the WE-Care program are expected to strengthen UCDW messaging across different influencing spaces.
